The chain mesh design of the pewag forstgrip provides perfect self-cleaning capabilities. All connections in the chain mesh consist of long lasting welded rings, which allow adaption to the wear of the tire with adjustment elements. pewag forstgrip is available in a one- or two-field model depending on the tire width.
The pewag forstgrip product line is the first series of forestry chains made of special TitanGrip® steel to guarantee a long life span.
pewag forstgrip is available with or without tensioning chain in the following material diameters:
- 10.5 mm (ring 12 mm): close-meshed and slender chain for smaller forestry machines
- 12.5 mm (ring 15 mm): all-round model; suitable for all forestry vehicles and grounds
- 15.5 mm (ring 17 mm): wide-meshed chain; due to ideal self-cleaning abilities especially suitable for soft grounds and big forestry machines
